Carinthia House
Kärntner Sparkasse: The stately, three-storey building is an excellent divider between Main Square and Lower Square and also an end point to square-like Spitalgasse on the southern side. On the façade facing the Main Square, a portal porch was built around the middle of the 16th century with two pillar domes one above the other. The house was renovated by the St. Veit savings bank in 1960 and turned into a banking institute. Documents prove that the building was used by the Spanheim families as an administrative office building.
